Battling Unbelief
I promised you last week that we would finish up the different roots to
Battling Unbelief…
WE will be answering WHY WE MUST LIVE BY Faith in The Promises of GOD….
WE BEGAN WITH EPLAINING THE TRUTH
ABOUT
The Root of Unbelief
All SINS are connected in some way…to
UNBELIEF IN…
THE Promises of GOD
All the sinful states of our hearts…stem from unbelief IN GOD’s
super-willingness and ability… to Work for US… in Every Situation of Life…
SO THAT…Everything Turns Out For Our Good…
Trusting God’s promises IS the most fundamental way…THAT… you can consciously glorify God.
WHEN You believe a promise of God… YOU honor God’s ABILITY to DO WHAT HE PROMISED
SO…WE MUST… Fight Against Unbelief
THE FIRST ITEM THAT WE SAW LAST WEEK
…AND…
THAT WE NOW KNOW WE HAVE… TO LABELING AND UNDERSTANDING THE ROOTS OF ALL UNBELIEF IS…
IT’S FUTURE ORIENTED
WHICH MEANS…
PUTTING OUR HOPE FOR HAPPINESS ON THE PROMISES OF GOD… SECURED BY…
THE DEATH AND RESURRECTION OF JESUS
The 2nd-It Produces Fruit
The second thing I want to say about belief in the promises of God IS THAT… IT PRODUCES what Paul calls the “Work Of Faith.”
Two times… ONCE in
1 Thessalonians 1:3 and… ONCE in 2 Thess 1:11… Paul refers to the “Work Of Faith.”
What he means IS…THAT… There IS… a dynamic to this kind of FAITH… THAT ALWAYS CHANGES THE HEART…
Acts 15:9…
And… produces the Works Of LOVE.
The clearest statement of THIS…IS…found in Galatians 5:6:
In Christ Jesus… neither circumcision… nor… uncircumcision…IS…of any avail…
BUT…Faith Working Through LOVE…
Faith IS…a POWER… It NEVER leaves the Life unchanged.
It can’t… BECAUSE what You PUT YOUR HOPE ON… ALWAYS GOVERNS YOUR LIFE...
WHEN…YOU PUT YOUR HOPE ON MONEY… YOUR HOPE IS GOVERNED BY PRESTIGE…
THEN YOU WILL SEE THAT YOUR HOPE IS ON LEISURE AND COMFORTS…
WHEN YOU PUT YOUR HOPE ON POWER OR SUCCESS… IT GOVERNS The CHOICES YOU MAKE… and… the ATTITUDES THAT YOU DEVELOP… …And…
SO DOES… PUTTING YOUR HOPE ON THE PROMISES OF GOD…DAY BY DAY…
Belief in the promises of God IS the taproot of ALL Righteousness and Love
Earlier in Galatians 2:20 Paul said…
I am crucified with Christ…
It is no longer I who live…
But… Christ…who lives in me.
…And…
The life I now live…
In the flesh…
I live by faith in the Son of God…
Who loved me
…and…
Gave himself for me...
Paul lived his life… every day…by faith.
Jesus had loved him enough… to die for him… SO…NOW…Paul… knew he could trust him… believe NOT ONLY IN HIM…to take care of him
…and…
to meet all of his needs… BUT… He could… BELIEVE HIM…
(Philippians 1:19)…
SO…When you PUT YOUR HOPE ON THE PROMISES OF GOD
… and…
ON… the Presence Of Jesus…
YOU LIVE DIFFERENTLY
You bear…THE Fruit Of Righteousness
Philippians 1:11 TELLS US
Blessed is the MAN who trusts in the Lord…
Whose trust is IN the Lord.
He…IS… like a tree planted by water…
THAT sends out its roots by the stream…
…And…
Does NOT FEAR when heat comes…
For ITS LEAVES remain GREEN…
…And…
IS NOT ANXIOUS in the year of drought…
For it does NOT CEASE TO BEAR FRUIT….
That’s the second thing we need to see and say about BELIEF…:
IT PRODUCES FRUIT IN OUR LIVES…
Belief …in The Promises Of GOD IS… NOT…a dead and fruitless thing…
What You put your HOPE on… for happiness… Controls Your Life.
3. Number three…IS…
THAT…
It Is A Daily Battle !
“Becoming a Christian IS…THE BEGINNING OF THE BATTLE NOT THE END…”
The last thing WE need to say IS…actually… just a sentence for now.
In order to keep on Believing in the Promises Of God
…and…
Bearing the fruit of Faith…
WE have to battle unbelief EVERY DAY.
Becoming a Christian is the beginning of the battle…NOT THE END….
Paul said to Timothy in
1 Timothy 6:12:
“Fight the good fight of faith…take hold on Eternal Life to which…YOU were called.”
In order to persevere… to Eternal Life… WE MUST fight the good fight of Faith…
1 Corinthians 15:2 Colossians 1:23
Hebrews 3:14
That’s the battle we are going to study for the next few weeks.
God appointed THIS study for us…
BECAUSE HE LOVES US… …and…
BECAUSE HIS GOAL IS…to bring some great victories to our lives

to THIS Body Of Christ through THIS church…
THAT… reason IS… BECAUSE of the Promise Of

ACKNOWLEDGE … THAT THE BREAD…OR FOOD ITEM YOU ARE USING AS THE BODY OF CHRIST… IS:
· THE VIBRANCY OF THE LIFE WITHIN JESUS
· HIS SUPERNATURAL HEALING AND WHOLENESS...
THE LORD SHOWED ME THAT IT BECOMES EASY WHEN You think of it as a pill…that’s glowing with the Shekeenah glory of God… and as it travels through your mouth… down into your body…. it’s healing you…it’s pushing out all darkness … ALL SICKNESS AND DIS-EASE from the inside out.
WHATEVER THE AILMENTS ARE…SEE THEM ON JESUS’ BODY…THERE’S NO PLACE FOR GUILTY FEELINGS HERE… SINCE HE ALREADY TOOK ALL SICKNESS AND DIS-EASE AT THE CROSS.
SO…WHAT’S HAPPENING?
THE ENEMY’S TRYING
TO TRICK YOU INTO TAKING SICKNESS... BY DECIEVING YOU INTO THINKING THAT
YOU’VE GOT IT…THROUGH LYING SYMPTOMS…
BUT REMEMBER …THAT JESUS TOOK IT AT THE CROSS… SO…YOU WERE HEALED AND MADE WHOLE…AT THE CROSS!
THEREFORE:
SEE YOURSELF WITH THE SOLUTION…
SEE YOURSELF WITHOUT THE PROBLEM…THIS IS CALLED SPIRITUAL VISUALIZATION.
IT’S VITAL YOU BEGIN PUTTING THIS INTO PRACTICE IN YOUR LIFE !

Now… PLEASE …place your focus on the elements of the Covenant…
These are the items I asked you to assemble at the beginning of the service…
as I pray…
Father God… we praise you and worship you with these elements of the covenant… We thank you that Your only begotten son Jesus… gave his life sacrificially…AS US…Individually… So that… we may live… and have life more abundantly.
We thank you now… as these elements of the covenant… become our portion… of His Healing body … and the vibrancy of HIS life… within us…
We thank you…that… as we partake of the BODY OF CHRIST…The BREAD OF HEAVEN… we become healed and made whole... completely restored...
We thank you…that…this beverage… becomes our portion… of His cleansing blood…
That we are constantly washed in the waterfall of His precious blood… and…renewed within… as we continually remember His act of love on the cross… on our behalf.
In the name above all names…the matchless name of Jesus…the Christ… We pray…AMEN.

ALL in the rememberance of Jesus…
However… Paul didn’t give us instruction on the celebration frequency
He implys…
it’s to be done often…
In order to continually keep Christ’s Victory… of…
our redemption…from all Sickness…Dis-ease

All Sin
in the forefront of our mind…

When we receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior…the bible tells us…that… we are made a
New Creation…

The emphasis here… is on the

When we accept Jesus as our Lord and savior...
We move into Christ.
He surrounds us completely…
Now… with that in mind… formulate this picture using your spiritual visualization…

He is in Us… visualize a kind of hollogram…when you move one way you see Jesus…move the other…you see YOU…
Or…think about it this way…
You can put Jesus on like a suit of clothes.
Your hands into his hands like gloves...
your arms into his arms like sleeves…
Your body into his body like the torso of your shirt… your legs into his like trousers… and…
your feet into his feet like shoes…

We have also been given the MIND OF CHRIST… Your head goes into Christ’s head.
We find our EVIDENCE in Deuteronomy 28:13
Where it tells us…THIS…
And… the LORD will make you the head and NOT the tail…
YOU shall be above ONLY… and NOT beneath…
IF… you heed the commandments of the LORD your God… which I command you today… and… are careful to observe them.
DEAR FRIENDS…
The result of this union…IS…
ALL of the vibrancy of CHRIST’S Life…
ALL of His divine health and wholeness…

Remember that we are speaking spirits made in the image and likeness of God.

Satan can TRY to get us to take sickness and
dis-ease …
By tempting us to come into agreement with what the he SAYS ABOUT US…
This means…
agreeing with what we see with our physical eyes and hear with our physical ears…
in this natural realm

When Jesus went to the cross… and… conquered... sin… hades and…death…HE
FINALIZED THE PLAN OF GOD…BY Triumping over satan…
JESUS… THROUGH THE FATHER… stripped satan of ALL of THE STOLEN God-gifted powers …Given to Adam on God’s Breath….
JESUS...AGAIN… THROUGH THE FATHER… THEN… restored…
and re-activated The RESURRECTION POWER…WITHIN US

THOSE POWERS are grouped under THE BLESSING…
So…JESUS restored US to THE BLESSING.
The scriptures tell us… In 1 Peter 5:8 that… satan…OUR ADVERSARY… NOW … ROAMS ABOUT…LIKE a roaring lion… looking for whom he may devour.
THAT…“ WHO” …MY FRIENDS…
IS…
Anyone who believes that satan HAS power…
HOWEVER…God’s Word says… that…satan no longer has ANY POWER…

SO…As a born again believer satan no longer has any power over YOU…
The result is…
This feckless…devil… satan… Roams around roaring LIKE A LION…in language that you understand…
in order to FRIGHTEN YOU… into believing… THAT… he is ALL powerful…and… to give you the impression… THAT… He… is even more powerful than ALMIGHTY GOD...
LISTEN CLOSELY NOW…
These are the only things satan can do… since JESUS…Through the Father… stripped him of ALL power.
He can …
Distract you...move your focus off of the things of God… by tempting you… to agree… with what you see with the physical eyes and hear with the physical ears in this natural world.
IF … you succumb to that temptation… you will begin to FOCUS…on the cares of this world…

HE CAN…
Deceive you...He is the father of all lies…and liars… he’s extremely stealthy… in tempting you with his disceptions.
HOWEVER…
Here’s the real truth that you need to see…in this…

satan CAN NOT read your mind…
He CAN NOT hear what you are thinking.
He CAN NOT GIVE you anything.
He has NO POWER OVER YOU…
AT ALL!.
PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THIS…

OFFER IT TO YOU…

A TEMPTATION

Remember…WE ARE ALWAYS IN SOME KIND OF FAITH… Everything we do… starts with a thought…then…we put action to it…and…
When we do that… it WILL BECOME

So… when the enemy OFFERS you a Temptation…
Here in the natural PHYSICAL realm…
IF you take that thought… THEN… put action to it…you WILL receive the consequences…
SO…Do you accept the evil report and CHOOSE DEATH?…
BY Agreeing with what the enemy is saying about you… here in the natural?… IF SO… you are agreeing with the picture that he has painted for you to see… with your physical eyes… and… hear with your physical ears…
